More Beading

Yesterday I started weaving a pair of earrings in blue, yellow and green. I started on the 2nd one today at the laundromat but didn't get to finish it. I made a portable kit that holds enough supplies to make one pair of earrings. Neat.

Beaded Arrow

I just finished the beaded arrow. It could be used as an applique, sewn to a hat or a quiver for example. Or I can put a back on it and use it as a brooch. I quite like it and can't wait to try it in other color schemes or even on leather.

Green Arrow Pin

Today I started working on a green arrow  pin, trying to keep my sanity during all this packing and sorting. It's taken on a surrealistic quality and feels like it will never be done. Maybe I died and went to hell but instead of flames its endless stuff I have to sort and label.

So to keep from going insane I started a beading project with a handful of supplies. It's late so I'll add a photo another time.

Beaded Brick Stitch Feather Earrings

Feather Shaped Earrings:
I've finished the first earring prototype. I've redrawn the pattern and I've ordered Delica beads for the improved version. But I still want to duplicate the first earrings so that I have a pair. I'm happy that the way I thought those earrings were made might actually be correct. I took an educated guess and I think it's right.

Men's Peasant Shirt
I just cut out the first shirt out of natural colored linen.
