Little Yellow Hat and New Paintings

Maggie in her new hat.
I know I'm behind. Stupid Internet connection is on the fritz every other day or more. At any rate, last night I started knitting a little yellow hat for my granddaughter, who I will be visiting soon.

I also finished 3 paintings. I only have photos of 2 of them though. The witch one is on canvas board, The other one is gouache on heavy paper. Click to see a larger view. I can list either one or both in my Etsy shop if you are interested.

Painting a Pet Sympathy Card

Today I spent a few more hours on one of my abstract paintings, then I remembered I needed to paint a card for a friend that just lost her fur kid. I had all the paints out so I put my painting aside and spent another hour painting the card.

I think the dog looks kind of 'off' but it's the thought that counts, right?

Painting on Canvas

Greenman banner: I started a new project yesterday.  It's a hand painted canvas 2' x 2' banner for my boyfriend's archery site and it has to be done by Friday. I wish he'd asked me sooner than yesterday afternoon but that's the way it goes sometimes.

Kokopelli painting: I spilled paint on my painting and I haven't had time to fix it yet

Juggling clubs: That's what I was working on yesterday when my boyfriend derailed my schedule.

Bunny Painting

Today's painting was a girl with two bunnies. I think I'm going to call it 'Her Best Friends were Bunnies."  I'm not quite done. She still needs a nose.

SFP Day 3 Ballet Slippers

This painting took me a lot longer than I thought it would. It's cold on the front porch.
