Boho Granny Square Handbag

Yesterday at Fanciwerks I started a boho granny square purse in autumn colors. I really like this yarn she has called Classic Shades by Universal Yarn. It's the first time I've used it and I'm in love with it. It's 70% acrylic, 30% wool. The variegated portion of the granny square is made of this. It changes from orange to gold to beige to red. It comes in lots of different colorways. The only downside is it is over $8 a skein.

The first two rounds of the granny square.

One of six granny squares I need for the handbag.
There was also a braided scarf I saw at Fanciwerks that I want to figure out how to make. It's 3 strands of 2x2 ribbing about 4" wide all braided together to form a scarf. Neat.

Crochet Hat with Braid Tubes

I can't remember when I started this hat but I just finished it and listed it on Etsy and Yardsellr.
So  feeling pretty cocky about my success, I started crocheting another one last night in shades of purple and gray.
